Bio

Hello! I’m Emma, born and raised in Sugar Land, TX. I am so grateful for my upbringing in such a wonderfully diverse town where I started my training. I was put in ballet classes at the age of two and by the time recital came around, I fell in love with performing. Soon after I was given piano lessons and voice instruction by my aunt. At seven I started doing community and school theatre and I was hooked. In middle school I was accepted into a local pre-professional Ballet company, Ballet Forte, and I continued voice lessons and performing through high school.

I am currently a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with a concentration in Acting. I have recently been Fight Captain/Beatrice Understudy in Servant of Two Masters, Tubal in Merchant of Venice and In the Spring of 2020 I have the privilege of playing Eurydice in Anitogne. I also had the privilege of assistant directing a production of Bakkhai, from which I gained an invaluable amount of knowledge about the behind the scenes process of putting on a show. In addition, I have participated in summer intensives at Yale, AMDA and Berklee.

When I’m not performing, you can find me outside enjoying nature, taking pictures, spending time with friends, reading or enjoying a good movie.
